Dottie

Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound bundle of love and loyalty! She's a super smart, food-motivated girl who learns new things quickly and is always eager to please. Dottie has a goofy personality and a zest for life that's sure to bring endless laughter and joy to her forever home. She's a dedicated cuddle bug who loves to be by your side, whether you're working, relaxing, or out exploring. Dottie enjoys a good play session with her favorite rope toys and stuffies, and she's a big fan of tug-o-war!

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can get at least one good walk or play session a day. She gets overstimulated in large groups of dogs, so she would do best with one or two calm canine companions, or as the only pet in the household. Dottie has had a negative experience with younger males and would do best in a home without young boys or a predominantly female household, as she is great meeting women.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained. While she can be left to free-roam, she may whine initially before settling down. She walks well on a leash and only pulls or barks when she sees other dogs. Her intelligence and food motivation make her a quick learner when it comes to training.

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
