Meet Violet!

Violet is a 1.5-year-old sweetheart who was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX. Despite her difficult past, she has emerged as one of the most loyal and loving dogs you'll ever meet. She's a world-class cuddler, often seen with her tongue sticking out, and will army crawl across any surface to get to you. Violet is also terrified of squeaky toys but is obsessed with the hose and playing tug. She has survived so much and still chooses to trust people, shining at adoption events and meeting new friends.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter who is willing to continue her training to build her confidence. She also does well with other dogs and gains confidence from them, so a canine companion would be a great addition to her new family. While she is generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones, so a home with quieter children might be best.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows "sit" and is making great strides with place and crate training. She needs continued training to help build her confidence.
