Negro (18)

Negro (18) is a large-sized dog (23.54 kg), with short black and brown fur, approximately 2.5 years old.

He showed up in a private neighborhood, seeking shelter from the heat in a park. However, neighbors began calling Animal Control to have him removed, so a kind person decided to take him in and offer him refuge in their yard. Through the adoption program, he has been dewormed, vaccinated, and neutered. He seemed to have an injured paw, but with daily meals, a safe place to rest, and kind treatment, he healed as if by magic.

Negro is a wonderful dog — loyal and grateful. He protects his temporary home and gets along well with people of all ages. He loves back rubs, belly scratches, and head pats — who knows how long it’s been since he last received so much affection!

He enjoys going for walks to the park and spending time with company. In general, he doesn’t mind other dogs, unless they’re unfriendly toward him — that can upset him. He’s also very polite when eating; even if he’s offered more food, he won’t continue eating once he’s full.

One thing to note is that he’s afraid of thunderstorms.
