Meet Cotton Ball, a gentle soul with a soft heart who is learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. This sweet Lab retriever mix, weighing in at 32lbs, was born around March 26, 2022. She came to us from a difficult hoarding situation, where she didn't receive the care and attention she deserved. Cotton was underweight upon arrival, but with good food, patience, and kindness, she's steadily gaining strength and confidence.

Cotton can be a little shy when you first meet her, and that's perfectly understandable. The world is still a big, new place for her, and she's looking for someone who understands that building trust takes time. But when she starts to feel safe, you'll notice the change – her soft eyes, quiet tail wags, and a gentle presence that just wants to be near you. This shy girl will blossom into a loyal companion, building a deep and special bond with her forever family.

Transportation

Cotton Ball is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations for transported dogs may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates along the way. Facebook chats are also available for transport tracking.
