Draco is a wonderful 3-year-old Boxer mix who is full of life and love! He is sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loyal, with a heart full of love ready to share with the right family. Draco's story began with a kind, homeless man who loved him dearly but could no longer provide for him. With a heavy heart, he entrusted Draco to us, hoping for a brighter future for his beloved companion. We promised to find Draco a loving home where he could finally have the stable and happy life he deserves.
Draco is an active dog who loves to play and would thrive with an energetic family that can match his enthusiasm. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those his size, as he can play a bit rough. Because of this, a home with dogs of similar energy and size would be ideal. He is fantastic with people, including children, and truly loves being part of a family. More than anything, Draco wants to belong and feel safe, loved, and included as a true family member.
Ideal Home
Draco would thrive in a home with an active family who can match his enthusiasm. He would do best with dogs of similar energy and size. A home with a yard is preferred, and while he might be able to live in an apartment, he would likely do best with more space. Draco is not recommended for homes with cats, as he tries to chase them.
Ongoing Health
Draco is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.
Training & Support
Draco is house-trained and crate-trained. He is well-trained walking on a leash and is not leash reactive, though he cries because he wants to greet other dogs and people. He is not food aggressive but it's always recommended to feed dogs separately in a new environment. While he is not destructive, he does like to play with and occasionally destroy stuffed toys.
