Venus

Meet Venus! This shy girl is the sister of our Athena and came in a few days after Athena but has been adjusting to the shelter life. She is a young adult, female Shepherd mix. Although shy, she is great once she really warms up to you. Venus seems to really like other dogs and they make her much more comfortable and open. She defers to her sister's more dominant personality and seems to prefer a backseat to other dogs. If you are considering adding to your family, come meet her and our other adoptable dogs.

Ideal Home

Venus would thrive in a home committed to helping her adjust to new surroundings. She finds comfort and confidence around other dogs, so a home with a canine companion would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Venus is not spayed and not vaccinated.

Training & Support

Venus is still working on her house training. Due to her shy nature, patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her blossom.

Transporation

Venus is located at Trinity County Animal Shelter in Weaverville, CA. We are open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Transportation can be discussed.
