About Tinkerbelle
Tinkerbelle is a sweet and affectionate young dog who is still getting to know us, but she has already made a wonderful first impression! She came to us after experiencing some big changes and has been settling in beautifully. Everything we’ve seen so far points to a thoughtful, loving dog who thrives when she feels safe and supported. Once she feels comfortable, her curious, playful, and silly side really starts to shine. She’s a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her people, and she’s still very much a young dog who enjoys little bursts of fun before happily settling back in for a cuddle or a nap.
Tinkerbelle seems to appreciate a gentle introduction to new people, places, and experiences. She’s the kind of dog who likes to take a moment to take everything in before jumping in. She has been eager to soak up affection from her foster family and bonded with them quickly. Whether she’s curled up beside them or snoozing in their laps, she simply loves being close to her people. When she’s feeling unsure, she looks to her people and will sweetly ask to be picked up for a little reassurance, a little love, or both. She enjoys exploring the yard and often checks in with her people before wandering off to investigate something new. She’s also been neutral and respectful with the resident dogs, carefully reading their cues and giving them space. As a smaller dog, she seems to appreciate other dogs who are equally respectful of her space.
She did great on her walks, has had no accidents with us, and is crate trained. She genuinely loves having a crate available and will often choose to tuck herself in for a nap or some quiet time throughout the day. We think she’ll be happiest in a home where she always has a crate available as her own safe space. She seems very comfortable living in a home and settles in beautifully after a little fun or adventure.
While we’ll keep learning more about her personality each day, she already seems ready to find the people she can call her own. We think Tinkerbelle will flourish with a family who lets her settle in at her own pace and enjoys getting to watch her personality unfold. We’re excited to keep getting to know this lovely girl and help her find the forever home she deserves. ❤️🐾
