Gina is a 8-month-old, 56lb spayed female Belgian Malinois mix who was found abandoned as a tiny puppy. She was discovered in a cardboard box near a busy road, but thankfully, a wonderful foster family has given her a second chance at finding a loving home. Gina is a sweet and playful pup who enjoys the company of her canine friends. She loves playing tug-of-war with her smaller foster siblings and often initiates play by bringing them a toy. While she can be a bit hesitant around unfamiliar larger dogs due to a past incident where she was attacked, she lives harmoniously with small dogs under 15 lbs and large dogs over 75 lbs in her foster home. She's looking for a home without cats, as she gets a bit too excited around neighborhood kitties. Gina also seeks human attention and can be jumpy when excited, so a home with older, dog-savvy children (10+) would be ideal. She would thrive in an active household where she can receive plenty of daily play and exercise. Gina adores toys, often collecting them in her bed, and has learned to play fetch, though she's also content entertaining herself.
