Phantom - URGENT

Phantom is a handsome 3-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a heart of gold, but he's in urgent need of a loving home. He's currently at the Kern County Animal Services shelter in Bakersfield, California, and the situation there is dire. The shelter is overcrowded, and dogs like Phantom are at high risk. He's been patiently waiting for his chance at a happy life since June 6, 2026.

Phantom is not house-trained, so he will need a patient adopter to help him learn the ropes.

• We partner with Companion Animal Protection Services (CAPS) to help at-risk dogs from Kern County Animal Services.
• The dogs are located in Bakersfield, CA, not Thousand Oaks.
• CAPS does not often answer phones or respond to voicemails due to understaffing.

Transportation

CAPS can arrange transportation for adopters on the West Coast. Please note that adopters are responsible for any associated transport fees. Fosters must reside in Kern County.
