Ready, Freddie?
This guy absolutely is. Meet Freddie! Freddie is a 6-year-old, 55-pound Hound mix who wakes up every day ready to party. And by party, we mean he plays hard, loves big, and then passes out on your couch like he pays the bills. Freddie's daily schedule looks something like: Ready to chase anything that squeaks, rolls, or flies, ready to make friends (whether they're ready or not), ready to claim your couch or your lap, and ready to snooze and snuggle. And if you're already smiling... just wait. There's so much to love about Freddie: certified goofball, LOVES kids, velcro dog energy, great with other dogs and loves to play, knows sit, stay and lie down (especially if treats are involved), and is house trained and doesn't need a crate. Freddie can be a little extra when meeting new people – he's excited, he's vocal, and he's VERY ready to say hello. But give him a minute, and you'll see the real Freddie: an affectionate, quirky, snuggly best friend. He's strong, he's enthusiastic, and he occasionally forgets he's not a small dog, so he'll do best with someone who can handle his size, laugh at his antics, and help him keep improving his manners.
Ideal Home
Freddie would thrive in a home that's ready for him: a fenced yard for zoomies and exploring, older kids who won't get accidentally bowled over, a cat-free home (cats are a bit too exciting for him), and people who want a dog that's part entertainment, part shadow, part cuddle machine.

Freddie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
Training & Support
He's strong and enthusiastic, and he occasionally forgets he's not a small dog, so he'll do best with someone who can handle his size, laugh at his antics, and help him keep improving his manners.
