Meet Blair, who also answers to the sweet nickname Billie! This 16-week-old Lab/Pit mix is a bundle of joy with a big personality, ready to bring endless fun into your life. She's a bold, curious, and incredibly sweet puppy who believes everyone is her friend. Billie came into rescue with her siblings dealing with a skin condition that caused some hair loss, but she has fully recovered and is now in the healing phase while her beautiful coat grows back. She's far too busy exploring her world to let it slow her down!
Billie loves to play and is always the first to investigate something new. She's earned her nickname by climbing and jumping like a tiny billy goat, fully committed to her adventures! She loves to "talk" to her humans and is happiest by your side, ready to be your loyal sidekick. Billie is smart and already excels at coming when called and sitting for treats. She is about 80% potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go. She's also comfortable in her crate for short periods and has been sleeping through the night with no accidents. Billie is gaining confidence on the leash daily and is off to an amazing start for her age. One of her favorite pastimes is watching TV, and she's sure to keep you laughing and feeling loved every single day.
Ideal Home
Billie would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not to guide her and help channel her big personality. She is expected to grow into a large dog and will thrive with a family ready to embrace her bold, adventurous spirit. She is fantastic with other dogs and currently lives with a playful Golden Retriever. While she hasn't been around cats or children, she would likely do well with respectful children who understand puppy energy and boundaries.
Ongoing Health
Billie has fully recovered from a skin condition that caused temporary hair loss and is now in the healing phase as her coat grows back in.
