Woody

Woody is a handsome 1-year-old German Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from Memphis. He has a sweet and friendly temperament, though he can be a little tentative when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations, which is typical for the breed. Woody is selective about his canine companions and would likely be happiest as the only dog in his new home. He's shown to be friendly and non-aggressive towards cats he's seen from across the fence. Woody is good with children, and we recommend him for dog-savvy kids 10 years and older. He has a medium energy level when outdoors and is quiet and well-mannered inside the house. Woody is crate trained, housebroken, and knows his basic commands. He absolutely loves being with his people, walks nicely on a leash, and is a great car rider. He was treated for heartworms upon arrival and has made a full recovery, so he's now healthy, fully vetted, up-to-date on shots, and neutered, weighing around 45 pounds. This awesome young GSD mix is ready to be a wonderful companion and jogging partner for an active family who loves the breed!

Ideal Home

Woody would do best in a home where he can be the only dog. He is recommended for dog-savvy children 10 years and older.

Woody was treated for heartworms and has been cured. He is healthy, fully vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on his shots.
