Gemini is a 9-year-old, 50-pound female dog with a sweet yet spicy personality. She's a communicator who thrives on clear boundaries and understanding her body language. Gemini is learning to build independence and can be a bit dramatic when left alone, but her "mute howls" are generally low in volume and persistent. She has made significant progress in her foster home and deserves a loving family to call her own. Gemini's 10th birthday is August 26th, and her foster family hopes she'll find her forever home before then.

Ideal Home

Gemini would do best in a home with older children and without cats, as she hasn't met them before. Due to resource guarding, a home with another respectful dog with clear boundaries around meals and special items would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Gemini has arthritis, which is managed with a monthly injection. This treatment allows her to maintain a good quality of life.

Training & Support

Gemini is learning to be more comfortable with alone time and may need gradual transition periods. Understanding and respecting her boundaries, especially around resources, is key to her success.
