Genie is an absolutely beautiful, outstanding Australian Shepherd who is over 5 years old and ready to find her forever home! She's a stunning blue merle, standing 18” tall and weighing 45-50 lbs. Genie has the best happy-go-lucky personality — there isn’t a soul she hasn’t loved! She truly knows no strangers and greets everyone with joy. She is wonderful with kids and thrives on being part of the family. As a mama, Genie naturally has an alpha personality, so she would do best in a home with a male dog if there is another dog in the household. She is a stellar companion — housebroken, leash and off-leash trained, and always ready to snuggle. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and well-rounded girl to add to your family, Genie may be your perfect match.
Ideal Home
Genie would do best in a home with a male dog or as the only dog. She has been around horses and cats and has shown no reaction to horses and can be called off from reacting to cats. We prefer that Genie find a home within the surrounding New England states from New Hampshire.
Ongoing Health
Genie is clear for Aussie panel except for 1 copy of MDR1. She will be spayed once she finds a home, will be up to date on shots, and have her teeth cleaned before going home. She will also receive proper vet checks and health care.
Training & Support
Genie is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash & off-leash trained. She does not get car sick and loves to sit in the front seat! She could still use routine training in her new home with her owners, as she does have a hard time with excited reactivity on leash, as most dogs can be.
