Hi, I'm Loko! I'm a charming 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a personality to match. I'm a true "velcro dog" – I adore being by my person's side, whether we're snuggled up on the couch, exploring the house, or even sleeping nearby. But don't worry, I'm also content and don't get anxious when you need to step out for a bit. I just genuinely enjoy your company and want to be a part of your everyday life! I'm playful, confident, and very eager to please, which makes training a breeze. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, no matter their size, and I even enjoy the company of cats. Having a canine pal to romp and play with really brings out my fun-loving spirit! I'm already crate trained, leash trained, and doing a great job with potty training, though a few little accidents might still happen as I continue to learn. I've mastered "sit" and I'm a quick study for new commands. While I can be a bit shy with men initially, I warm up with a little patience and personal space. Once I feel comfortable and trust you, I become incredibly loving and loyal. My foster parent describes me as goofy, sweet, and full of personality – absolutely irresistible!
Ideal Home
My perfect home is a calm and loving environment, ideally with another dog who can be my playmate. I'd thrive best in a household with older children or a quieter setting where I can take my time settling in and building my confidence. I must live in your home as part of your family.
Ongoing Health
I've had my neuter, microchip, and vaccinations, and I'm up to date on age-appropriate flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
I'm crate trained, leash trained, and mostly potty trained. I know "sit" and am eager to learn more!
