Honey

Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, making her an excellent cuddle buddy and a wonderful work-from-home companion. Honey Comb loves to be by your side, nuzzling for affection or resting her head on your lap. She's also independent and can entertain herself with toys and chew bones while you're busy. When it's time for fun, she's ready for zoomies, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. Honey Comb is great with children aged 4 and up and loves greeting new people with her signature stop, drop, and roll move for belly rubs. She has excellent manners, is respectful around food, and learns routines quickly, making her a joy to live with. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained, and will communicate when she needs to go outside by "tap dancing" by the door. She can be trusted to be left alone and is happy to sleep in a kennel or in bed with her family.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. She absolutely needs a fenced-in backyard for playing fetch and sunbathing. She would prefer a quieter suburban or rural setting over a busy city, as she loves nature trails and hikes. A home without other dogs is ideal, as she prefers to soak up all the attention. While she hasn't been tested with cats, a feline-free home is recommended. She would love to have human siblings to share her love with.

Ongoing Health

Honey Comb is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in our care.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is already kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She walks beautifully on a leash during quiet, peaceful walks. She is not destructive and can be left alone.

Transportation

Honey Comb is in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be transported to various cities and states, with monthly transports available. Adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported, and we cannot bring dogs for meet and greet situations due to transport distances.
