Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old Labrador mix who's ready to bring joy and energy to her forever home! She's a happy, curious girl who loves to run, jump, and play with her favorite toys, especially colorful balls. Sol is social with other dogs and people, and while she might be a little cautious at first with new situations, she's never aggressive. She absolutely adores affection and is always up for a good cuddle. Sol is looking for a family who will shower her with love, provide plenty of playtime, and guide her as she continues to grow and learn.
Ideal Home
Sol would thrive in an active home with a fenced backyard, ideally with a family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a family with an open mind about the needs of rescued animals and a genuine intention to rescue. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is highly desired, or a commitment to hiring a trainer. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are a must, as Sol is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Sol has received a comprehensive health protocol including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, microchipped, and tested for heartworm (negative). She also receives monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She comes with a vaccination booklet and health certificate.
Training & Support
Sol is not house-trained and will require patience and consistency from her new family to learn. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may need time to adjust to a new environment and may have fears or anxieties from past experiences. Providing a safe, loving environment, establishing a routine, and offering clear boundaries will help Sol build trust and feel secure.
