Kira may be shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, but she warms up quickly once she realizes she's safe. While large crowds can still make her nervous, she continues to gain confidence through positive experiences and patient guidance. One of the most rewarding parts of Kira's journey has been watching her learn how to simply be a dog. She now enjoys playing with the resident dogs, has found her voice, and has embraced life as a cherished family companion. While she'll occasionally speak up when she has something to say, she's not an overly vocal dog. Kira enjoys outings, especially when they aren't overly crowded, and thrives in environments where she can move at her own pace. Kira was found abandoned on the streets of Texas and has come an incredibly long way since those uncertain days.
