Nala

Nala is a big, sweet, and lovable dog who will bond strongly with her person. She loves to spend her days outside, chasing birds and watching for deer. Nala has been in training and has overcome some initial trust and space issues. She is a clear communicator and will always let you know how she's feeling. She is fantastic with other dogs and has great play and social skills with them. Nala is crate- and house-trained and knows many commands, including sit, down, wait, back up, leave it, roll over, come, spin, take it, and "get dressed" (when putting on her harness). She has also made great progress with nail trims, especially when she can relax on a couch!

Ideal Home

Nala will bond strongly with one person but can learn to accept others with proper introductions. She is not a dog who wants to snuggle in bed but will be a devoted best friend. Because Nala still has some space issues, it's best to let her approach you on her own terms.

Training & Support

Nala has worked through initial trust and space issues, but it may still take her time to trust new people. She is a natural alert barker when seeing strangers and may remind you of a livestock guarding breed. Nala is communicative and will always let you know her feelings.
