About Chip

As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix, weighing around 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who adores his people and wants to be your shadow. While Chip can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, he quickly becomes your best friend once he trusts you. He enjoys sniffing walks, is leash-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained, and loves spending time outdoors. Chip is also a pro at wearing costumes! He's done well with calm, dog-friendly foster siblings and enjoys playing with them. We recommend slow introductions to new dogs and believe he'd do best with calm, submissive canine companions who are happy to play with him. Chip also asks that he not live with any cats.

Ideal Home

Chip's ideal humans would enjoy having him as their constant companion. They should understand that he can experience separation anxiety when left alone but can be crated for comfort. He would thrive in a home that can continue his training and would love to accompany his people on outings, car rides, and walks. Chip has also done well around older children.

Ongoing Health

Chip is a healthy, neutered male.

Training & Support

Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left home alone. Chip would love to continue working on his training with his new family.
