A little about them
Rockette is a friendly, playful, very active girl who loves tug-of-war, cuddles, car rides, streams, squeaky toys, and outdoor adventures. She came from animal control and graduated from the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training program. After a short adoption that wasn’t the right fit, she is looking for her family.
Ideal Home
Rockette would thrive with an active family. She has enjoyed playing with other dogs. Cats are unknown, and children 15 or older are recommended because she can be mouthy during play. She may need a moment to warm up to new people, especially those wearing hats, and can be sensitive to loud noises.
Ongoing Health
Rockette is current on annual vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She weighs approximately 41 pounds and is about 1 year old.
Training & Support
Rockette knows sit, stay, down, come, drop it, leave it, and place. She has good leash manners with her EZ Walk harness, uses proper door etiquette, and greets appropriate strangers without jumping. She is doing well in her crate and has had good potty habits, including no overnight accidents during a foster sleepover. She will need continued guidance and redirection around side-to-side movements, which can trigger mouthy play. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for adopted dogs.
