A big, sweet senior with classic lab energy

Venus is the kind of dog a lot of people are looking for: friendly, straightforward, and easy to like. She's a large senior girl with that classic older Lab feel--sweet, steady, and happy to be out with people.

She's been described as a very sweet, typical older lab, with no obvious behavior concerns. Venus does pull hard on leash, but she takes redirection well and doesn't seem difficult about it. She's the kind of dog who feels manageable and familiar, especially for someone who already loves big older dogs.

At 10 years old, Venus still seems to have plenty of life left in her. She also qualifies for Doggy Day Out, which could be a great way to get to know her outside the shelter.
