This handsome two-year-old German Shepherd mix is a true gem, weighing around 50 pounds. Spike has a striking black coat with a bright white chest patch and intelligent eyes that sparkle with curiosity. He's a wonderful blend of playful energy and devoted affection, often acting like a big ol' lap dog, gently nudging his way into your embrace for belly rubs. His favorite pastime is playing with squeaky toys, and he's also a water enthusiast who loves to swim!

Training & Support

Spike is crate-trained and house-trained. He knows commands such as "sit," "wait," "crate," "out," and "no," and comes when called. He responds well to structure and positive reinforcement. While he generally does well when left alone for short periods, he can sometimes be uneasy with loud sirens and may whimper if he sees his people interacting closely with another dog. He has lived peacefully with female dogs, but introductions should be thoughtful.
