About Peanut

Meet Peanut! Peanut is a beautiful 2-year-old Labrador mix with a sleek black coat, bright white markings, and an adventurous spirit. She loves exploring hiking trails, sniffing every new scent, and spending time outdoors with her people. Whether she's sitting patiently beside a waterfall or joining you on a weekend adventure, Peanut is happiest when she's part of the journey. Peanut is intelligent, affectionate, and already knows basic commands like sit, leave it, and come. She is crate trained, house trained, and enjoys learning with people she trusts. Like many dogs, Peanut has developed behavioral challenges that require an experienced home.

Ideal Home

Peanut is looking for a very specific home: an adult-only home (or one with older, dog-savvy teens if deemed appropriate). She would do best as the only pet in the home, or with an experienced owner able to carefully manage introductions. She would also prefer a home without cats and a secure fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

Peanut has no ongoing health concerns mentioned.

Training & Support

Peanut has developed behavioral challenges that require an experienced adopter committed to continuing positive, reward-based behavior modification. Despite these challenges, Peanut is a loyal companion who forms deep bonds with her people and thrives when given structure, consistency, and clear expectations. With the right person willing to invest in her success, Peanut has the potential to be an incredible partner.
