About Willow

Willow is a beautiful 2-year-old Lab/Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as her smile. After arriving from New Mexico in February with her three week-old puppies, Willow proved to be an incredible mama, lovingly raising her babies until they were ready to find homes of their own. Now it's Willow's turn to be the one who gets spoiled and cherished. At 37 pounds, Willow is the perfect medium-sized companion—small enough to curl up in your lap, yet sturdy enough for outdoor adventures. She absolutely adores her people and will happily snuggle close, nuzzle her way onto your chest, and cover you with affectionate kisses. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or cooking in the kitchen, Willow just wants to be nearby, patiently hoping for a tasty treat. This sweet girl has a playful, pouncy side, too! Willow loves entertaining herself with toys, playing tug or fetch with her humans, chasing grasshoppers, and wrestling with canine friends. Willow is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She quickly mastered commands such as sit, lie down, touch, off, come, and focus. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion who will fill your days with cuddles and laughter, Willow may be the perfect match.

Ideal Home

A fenced yard or an active family that enjoys walks, hikes, or outdoor adventures would be a great match for her energy. She would do best as the only dog in the home or with another confident, well-balanced dog that matches her play style.

Training & Support

Willow is crate trained, potty trained, and well-mannered indoors. She's non-destructive in the home and settles in nicely. She's currently working on her leash manners and heeling skills, and she's making great progress. Because she can sometimes be reactive on leash and in the car, she'll thrive with a family committed to continuing her training and helping her build confidence when she's out and about.
