Misty

Misty is a beautiful 1-year and 1-month-old hound mix with a sweet, easygoing personality and so much love to share. She came to the shelter when her previous family could no longer keep her, but she's been brightening everyone's days with her cheerful spirit ever since. Here at the shelter, Misty has done wonderfully with other dogs, showing a friendly and social nature that could make her a great companion for a home with canine friends. We're not yet sure how she does with cats or children, so slow and happy introductions will help set her up for success.

Ideal Home

Misty would do well in a home with other dogs. We are not yet sure how she would do with cats or children, so slow introductions will be important.

Ongoing Health

Misty has received her first round of vaccines, along with dewormer and flea and tick treatment. She is also heartworm negative. She will need to stay at the shelter until she is spayed before heading off to her forever home.

Training & Support

Like many young pups, Misty is still learning the basics. She isn't house or crate trained just yet, but she's a smart girl with tons of potential. With a little patience, consistency, and love, she's sure to catch on quickly and thrive in her new home.

Transporation

Misty is located at our shelter. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and closed daily for lunch from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
