Hi there! I'm Cane, a delightful Carolina Dog Mix weighing in at 36.2lbs, with an estimated birthday of June 8, 2025. My foster family says I'm always smiling, always ready to play, and always excited to make new friends! I have a beautiful cream-colored coat, giant ears that seem to have a mind of their own, and a personality that's just as big as they are. My journey started with a bit of a scare; I found myself on the euthanasia list at an overcrowded county shelter, but thankfully, Sunnyside Street Dogs gave me a second chance. Ideal Home
I absolutely LOVE people and other dogs! If there's a chance to play, explore, go for a walk, or join in on whatever you're doing, count me in. Sitting around all day isn't really my style; I'm a young girl with lots of energy, curiosity, and excitement for life. I would love a family that enjoys adventures as much as I do!

Transporation
I am located in Houston, TX, and transport is included in the adoption fee! We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
