Iris

Soft-hearted and soulful, Iris is a gentle girl who’s learning that love is all around her. Found as a stray, underweight and covered in fleas, Iris arrived at the shelter in need of care and she’s been blossoming ever since. Though she’s still adjusting to shelter life, Iris has already shown her sweet, affectionate nature. Iris enjoys her daily walks, tasty treats, and quiet one-on-one time with staff. She may be a little shy at first, but with a few gentle pets and a snack or two, she warms up beautifully. Out in the play yard, Iris is calm and content, soaking in the sunshine and companionship.

Ideal Home

Iris would thrive in a home that offers routine, kindness, and cozy nature strolls. She hasn’t met other dogs yet, so we will want to make sure introductions are done slowly and carefully if you have other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Iris is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Iris has excellent leash manners.
