Charlie made his way into rescue from Northern Manitoba with his siblings in the peanut litter and has been stealing hearts ever since. Born at the end of March, this Shepherd mix' full grown size is unknown but expected to grow into a medium-sized companion (40 to 50 pounds), the ideal size for both adventures and couch time. Charlie has a gentle, easygoing personality and a natural way of fitting right into your life. He is happiest simply being near his people, whether that is heading out for a drive or relaxing at home. Charlie is such a special pup: fully house-trained with no accidents, loves car rides and makes a great travel buddy, gets along beautifully with cats and other dogs, crate trained and settles in comfortably for sleep, medium to low energy, perfect for a more relaxed home, and knows his basics, sits and offers a sweet paw. Charlie has an old soul vibe that makes him feel like he has always belonged. He does not need chaos or constant activity, just a loving home where he can be close to his people and feel safe. If you're looking for a loyal, low-key companion who will happily be by your side through it all, Charlie might just be your perfect match.

Charlie's adoption fee includes up-to-date vetting, including his neuter by our preferred vet after he reaches 6 months of age.

Training & Support

Charlie is fully house-trained and crate-trained, settling in comfortably for sleep. He knows basic commands like sit and offers a paw. He has a medium to low energy level and enjoys car rides.
