Kira

Kira is a lovely German Shepherd who has been with our rescue for a while, and we're dedicated to finding her the perfect forever home. She came to us after being used for breeding and likely not receiving the proper veterinary care she needed. After being surrendered with others, she's the last one waiting for her chance at a happy life. Thanks to the hard work of our team and foster families, Kira has undergone and successfully completed heartworm treatment, and she's now ready for a fresh start.

Ideal Home

Kira would do best in a single-dog household. She is not a good match for puppies, smaller breed dogs, or cats. She has shown a positive interest in playing with larger breeds similar to herself, and would likely do well with a compatible larger dog companion. She needs a home without children. Kira is sensitive to the energy of her environment; a calm and chill atmosphere will help her thrive.

Ongoing Health

Kira has successfully completed treatment for heartworms.

Training & Support

Kira is starting from scratch with her manners training and would benefit greatly from someone willing to invest the time to teach her. She needs a strong, patient hand and a mindful owner who can provide a stable and calm presence.
