Sammy is a smart, energetic, and loving young female Labrador Retriever who is looking for a new home where she can thrive. She loves long walks, running in the backyard, and chasing squirrels. Sammy is house-trained, knows many commands, has good recall, and is generally quiet, only barking when someone comes to the door. She has lived with a family and has done well with routine and exercise. Sammy enjoys belly rubs and attention from people she knows, but is also very independent. She has also done well at doggie daycare and gets along with some dogs, though she can be selective and may do best as the only pet or with a calm, compatible dog. Her family loves her deeply and is making this decision with her best interests at heart. She deserves a calm, stable environment where she can feel safe — and with the right fit, she'll thrive.
