Duck

Meet Duck, a sweet boy who's been through a lot but is ready to find his forever family! Duck and his siblings were found abandoned in a truck, and while his siblings have found homes, Duck is still waiting. He's a bit older, a little set in his ways, and full of quirky charm. Duck loves to play with his toys and enjoys a good run. Once he feels safe and bonds with you, he's incredibly loyal and will be your devoted companion. He just needs a little time to warm up and show you his true, loving personality.

Ideal Home

Duck would do well in a home with cats. While he can be selective with other dogs, slow and proper introductions can help him make friends. He'd also be happy in a home with children aged 12 and up who understand the importance of giving him space as he adjusts.

Ongoing Health

All cats and dogs adopted from Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are also tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Duck is still adjusting to his surroundings and may need a patient and understanding family to help him feel secure.

• Adoption fees for adult dogs are a minimum of $185, puppies start at $300, and dogs over 10 years old are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over 10 years old are $50.
