Cowboy

Cowboy is a spirited Australian Cattle Dog and Border Collie mix who's ready to herd his way into your heart! He's a smart cookie who already knows "sit," "off," and "down." Cowboy would thrive with an active family or on a farm where he has plenty of space to zoom and play. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small, and would likely do best with a canine friend who can match his energy level. While he is kennel trained, he's not the biggest fan of going in, but a little treat encouragement usually does the trick! To help him be his most well-rounded self, Cowboy would benefit from plenty of mental enrichment like puzzle toys, scent games, and chew toys.

Ideal Home

Cowboy would do great with someone who has an active lifestyle or lives on a farm. He needs a home without cats and without young children.

Ongoing Health

Cowboy is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. His adoption fee includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, distemper/parvo vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, and current heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Cowboy knows basic commands like sit, off, and down. He is kennel trained but prefers not to go into his kennel willingly. Providing him with mental enrichment such as agility, scent work, puzzles, and chew toys will help him thrive.
