Paisley is a 67-pound pittie mix, estimated to be about 3 years old, who is overflowing with affection and a deep desire for belly rubs. She’s a social butterfly who greets everyone warmly and quickly makes new friends feel like old ones with her gentle, close leans. Paisley is also a proud couch potato who is happiest by your side, eager to please and responsive to gentle guidance. On leash, she walks at an easy pace and may get a little wiggly when passing other dogs, but settles with a little help. With other dogs, she politely invites play with bouncing and occasional pawing, but is happy to hang back after a short game, especially with calm, confident, medium to low energy males. Paisley would also be perfectly happy to be your one and only furry companion. She is flexible and can adapt to a home with a yard or an apartment, as long as she gets plenty of snuggles. A family with older children would be ideal, as she prefers a calmer environment and can't quite keep up with the boundless energy of younger kids. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
