Notch, a happy, affectionate Great Dane and Saint Bernard puppy, is your guy if you're looking for a gentle giant with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling. Notch, or Notchy as his friends call him, believes every person he meets is a potential best friend. His sweet, easygoing personality makes him an absolute joy to be around, and his fluffy good looks are just a bonus. Whether he's following you from room to room, flopping down beside you for a nap, or "sharing his opinion" with his adorable puppy grumbles, Notchy is happiest when he's with his people.

This handsome boy loves making new friends and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He has a playful side and enjoys wrestling, chasing balls, chewing on his favorite toys, and exploring the yard. Once he's burned off a little puppy energy, he's more than happy to stretch out for a long nap, preferably somewhere soft, in the shade, or right beside you. Notchy is the true definition of "all boy." Dirt? Count him in. Mud? He'll find it before you do! Rain is one of his favorite things because it means there are puddles to stomp through. A swimming pool, however? You can keep that all to yourself. He's much happier keeping all four paws on solid ground. Car rides? Absolutely! Notchy is always ready for an adventure, a pup cup run, or simply tagging along while you run errands. Just don't be surprised if you forget he's there because he'll most likely find the coziest spot in the car and snooze for the entire trip. Toys? Yes... all of them! Notch hasn't met one yet that he doesn't like. Balls are probably his favorite, although he hasn't quite mastered the concept of bringing them back yet. He also loves a good game of tug-of-war. One of Notch's best qualities is his gentle, loving nature. He's curious without being overly demanding, playful without being wild, and affectionate without ever running out of love to give. His expressive eyes, fluffy face, goofy puppy antics, and lovable personality have a way of making everyone around him smile. Notch is current on all of his vaccinations and is ready to find a forever family that will give him the love, patience, adventures, and snuggles he deserves. DNA testing showed they are 85% Great Dane, 12% Saint Bernard, and 2% Argentine Dogo. These puppies will be GIANT dogs, and we are committed to giving them the healthiest possible start in life.

Ideal Home

Notch loves puddles but is not a fan of swimming pools. He is happiest on solid ground.

Ongoing Health

Notch is current on all vaccinations. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, gastropexy (stomach tack) surgery, microchip, DAPP vaccine series, leptospirosis vaccine series, bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine, deworming, flea & tick prevention, and veterinary care. The gastropexy is a mandatory procedure for giant breeds due to the high risk of gastric dilatation-volvulus (bloat).

Training & Support

Notch is making great progress with potty training and knows "sit" and "shake." He is eager to please, and positive reinforcement, treats, and plenty of praise are the fastest way to his heart. He loves toys and is working on bringing balls back when thrown.
