Brownie

Meet Brownie, a delightful 2-year-old female German Shepherd mix who is ready to fill your home with love and loyalty! Weighing in at 75 pounds, Brownie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, making her all set to join her forever family. She's a bundle of energy and affection, with a playful spirit that shines through in her love for chasing squirrels and her enthusiastic enjoyment of car rides. Brownie's foster family raves about her sweet nature, describing how she’ll roll onto her back for belly rubs and happily sit by your side. She's also a well-behaved pup, being fully potty trained and crate trained, and she even excels at going to her "place" when guests arrive. Brownie is protective of her home and will alert you to newcomers, but she's been taught to allow guests in once alerted. She walks beautifully on a leash and with a little more training, she'd make a fantastic running buddy!

Ideal Home

Brownie would thrive in a home with children aged 10 and older, due to her size. She is dog-friendly and enjoys playtime at doggie daycare, but she is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free environment is a must.

Brownie is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Brownie is fully potty trained and crate trained, with no accidents inside the house. She does very well when crated while her foster family is away. She knows several commands and is learning to be a great protector of her home, responding well to "place" when guests arrive.

Transporation

Brownie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She is eligible for transport to an adopter once a suitable match is found.
