About Ozzy
Tiny Gentleman With Large Feelings
Ozzy is 4 pounds of emotional support, mild theatrical behavior, and extremely strong opinions about blankets. This tiny man has fully mastered the art of cozy living. His hobbies include being wrapped up like a burrito, lounging dramatically in soft blankets, accepting affection like a celebrity at a meet-and-greet, and performing what can only be described as a full choreographed dinner dance every time food appears. Spins, twirls, happy feet—Ozzy treats mealtime like he's headlining a Las Vegas residency. And honestly? He deserves it. Ozzy came into rescue in rough shape, with a severe mouth infection that ultimately required all of his teeth to be removed. But somehow, instead of becoming grumpy about it, he emerged from the experience like a tiny retired boxer who now just wants peace, snacks, and somebody soft to love him forever. He's sensitive in the sweetest way—gentle handling, patient people, calm environments. Underneath those satellite-dish ears is just a little guy trying his best to feel safe and adored. He's low energy, easygoing, and honestly kind of iconic. Ozzy isn't looking for a household that runs like a frat house. He wants a quieter home where he can settle into the rhythm of daily life, follow his person around like a devoted little assistant manager, and spend his evenings tucked into blankets like he pays the electric bill there. He can be cautious for a few minutes with new people, but once he warms up, he becomes incredibly affectionate and loyal. The kind of dog that stares at you with his giant eyes like you personally invented kindness. And while he may be tiny, his emotional range is enormous. This dog has the soul of somebody's elderly aunt who says things like "have you eaten today?" and insists you take a snack for the road. Some dogs are adventurous trail dogs. Ozzy is more like a heated blanket with ears.
Ideal Home
Ozzy would thrive with someone patient, gentle, and understanding of his little quirks and sensitivities. He doesn't need much exercise, doesn't care about being the life of the party, and truly seems happiest just existing peacefully beside his person. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Ozzy had a severe mouth infection that ultimately required all of his teeth to be removed.
