Blake

Blake is a 4 year old mixed breed, dreamboat of a dog! Blake came from a high risk facility, but before he could make his way to KCHF he stayed a couple weeks with a foster, waiting to be transported to us! Blakes foster has two young kids that Blake adored. Bedtime or playtime, Blake could be found next to his fosters kids! He will make a fabulous family dog, Blake is crate trained, and often at night he would sleep in his crate with the door open and not wonder the house. Blake was originally relinquished to the high risk shelter for requiring too much attention. Blake LOVES attention and just wants to be with his people, Blake has great manners, but he is still working on learning some boundaries like not running out the front door and that he doesn't need to sit on top of you to be loved. Blake loves being outside and will spend all afternoon outside in the backyard with the kids and other dogs! He is potty trained and will walk to the door and whine when he wants to go out. Blake arrived at KCHF and he is ready for a family of his own! This sweet boy will be happiest in a home with kids! Blake is Heartworm Positive and will be starting treatment soon with us at KCHF. Blake is dog friendly and cat friendly!
