Mavis

Mavis, a 6-year-old St. Bernard weighing 120 pounds, is a gentle giant with a heart full of love! Also known as Maeve or Mavey Baby, she has low energy but enjoys short bursts of zoomies. Mavis is a fantastic co-pilot on car rides, though she might try to steal the driver's seat! She has been with her family since she was a puppy and loves her daily walks. Mavis is incredibly cuddly and loves her people fiercely. She does experience some separation anxiety and is currently on medication for it. While she has lived with other dogs in the past, she has developed some reactivity towards them as a solo dog. With slow and proper introductions, we believe she could be reintroduced to dogs, particularly male dogs of medium to large size.

Ideal Home

Mavis would do best in a calm household where she can be the only dog. She is amazing with cats and children over the age of 12.

Ongoing Health

Mavis is currently on medication for separation anxiety. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mavis needs slow and proper introductions to new dogs. She loves to be blow-dried and will happily wait her turn when she hears the sound of the hairdryer.
