Meet our husky girl Lucy Van Pelt!

Lucy is a strong, intelligent, and incredibly smart husky girl with plenty of personality and a heart of gold. True to her name, she's a cuddly co-pilot who is deeply devoted to her pack. Her piercing blue eyes might look like she's judging you, but she's actually an absolute love bug. At 4 years old and 45 lbs, Lucy is highly treat-motivated and eager to keep learning. She is already house-trained, microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Lucy was surrendered to a municipal shelter due to a skin condition, but thankfully, we were able to pull her and provide her with a loving foster home. Her skin is healing perfectly, and she is thriving on a healthy diet. Lucy is a healthy eater who loves fresh snacks like apples, cucumbers, and broccoli stems.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives on a structured routine that includes two 45-minute walks a day and a 30-minute exercise session. She is fantastic at pacing herself and happily hangs out during quiet hours. She loves working on chew toys or enjoying frozen treats. Lucy is great with dogs and most likely cats, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet home. She would do best in a work-from-home environment or in a household with other dogs to keep her company during the day.

Lucy's skin condition is healing perfectly with a healthy diet.

Training & Support

Lucy is described as a "quick learner" and is devoted to her pack. She has a beautifully vocal personality and will howl if she's excited or if her dinner is taking too long, but she is a polite hostess who doesn't bark at visitors.
