Apollo is a spirited 9-year-old Blue Heeler who’s ready to bring joy and energy into your home! This handsome boy is fixed and up to date on all his rabies shots, bursting with enthusiasm for life. He has a passion for playing fetch and will keep you entertained with his playful antics. Apollo is great with kids and has a heart full of love to share. He’s very treat-driven, making training sessions both fun and rewarding. While he can be a bit territorial, he overall gets along well with other animals, although he can be selective about his friends. Due to a new baby on the way and the demands of extra work, his current owners are heartbroken to have to find him a new home. Apollo truly deserves someone who can dedicate the time and energy he needs. If you’re an active person looking for a loyal companion who will keep you on your toes, Apollo might be the perfect fit for you!

Ideal Home

Apollo would thrive in an active home that can dedicate the time and energy he needs. He is great with children and generally does well with other animals, though he can be selective about his canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Apollo is up to date on his rabies shots. He does experience some separation anxiety and will need a comfy crate when left alone.

Training & Support

Apollo is treat-driven and enjoys training. He can be a bit territorial and is a bit timid around males, so a gentle approach is best.
