Oreo

Oreo is a one-year-old mystery mix who is ready to find his forever family! Whether you are looking for a car-ride companion or a professional snuggler, Oreo is your guy. He's a unique blend of American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Pit Bull Terrier, with a dash of 12 other breeds – truly one of a kind! Oreo had a rough start, found abandoned with his siblings, but he hasn't let that dampen his sweet nature. He's a social butterfly who is a natural in the car and a gentleman with people and other dogs. He enjoys "zoomie" spurts but is surprisingly low-maintenance, happy to relax after a good walk. Oreo is a TV enthusiast, particularly fond of Clifford the Big Red Dog, and has become a world-class cuddler. He was a perfect guest during a recent home visit, showing no accidents and understanding that potty time is outside.

Ideal Home

Oreo gets along great with other dogs and is very sweet-natured. Because he is still a young, bouncy boy who likes to jump up to say "hello," we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up. He hasn't met a cat yet, but we are happy to test him with feline friends upon request. He has a hilarious habit of putting his front paws in his water bowl while he drinks, perfect for anyone who appreciates a dog with a sense of humor.

Ongoing Health

Oreo is fully "vetted" and ready to settle into your heart! His adoption includes a comprehensive health package:

• Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella).
• Recently dewormed and consistently maintained on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
• Within 10 days of his trip to you, Oreo will receive a fresh health certificate exam and a fecal exam.

Training & Support

Oreo is a social butterfly and a gentleman with other dogs. He has shown he's a natural in the car and a perfect guest in a home, with no accidents. He seems to understand potty training and enjoys relaxing after a walk.

Transporation

Oreo is currently waiting in Oklahoma. Once adopted, he will be ready for pickup at one of our convenient stops near the cities listed below. Transporters follow their own set schedules for dates, locations, and times. Families must be available to meet the transport at the scheduled arrival time.
