Charlie

Charlie is a friendly, social, and quite the chatterbox! This one-year-old Shepherd mix loves being around people and isn't shy about letting you know when he'd like some attention. If you're nearby and not acknowledging him, he'll happily bark to remind you he's there! Charlie greets people with excitement and has plenty of puppy energy, often jumping up to say hello and playing with all his heart. He was surrendered when his owner could no longer keep him.

Ideal Home

Charlie has lived with other dogs and children and has experience sharing his home with canine companions. He has not been around cats. Charlie enjoys the company of other dogs, but his play style is very energetic, so a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is recommended to ensure they are a good match. While he likes other dogs, he can be a little timid when unfamiliar dogs bark at him, so patient introductions are important.

Charlie is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Charlie can be a bit of a barker to get attention and may jump up when greeting people. He'll benefit from continued positive reinforcement and guidance to help him learn to manage his excitement.
