Tonka is seeking an experienced adopter who understands the unique nature and needs of the Akita breed. He would thrive in an active household with a securely fenced yard, providing a safe space for him to enjoy outdoor time under supervision. Due to his strong prey drive and keen interest in smaller animals like cats and squirrels, careful introductions to other pets are essential. He may be happiest as the sole animal in the home.
