Meet Ava, a resilient and loving senior dog born in January 2014. Ava experienced a difficult start in life, being hit by a car and then abandoned. Despite losing a leg in the accident, she is remarkably quick and enjoys long walks, showing no signs of slowing down! She's a bit shy with new people and will need a patient and understanding adopter to help her feel secure. Once she trusts you, she’s a devoted companion.

Ideal Home

Ava would do best in a home where she can be the only dog. She needs an adopter who can offer patience and a quiet environment to help her continue to build confidence.

Ongoing Health

Ava is a survivor and has adapted wonderfully to life on three legs. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Ava can be hesitant around strangers. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help her blossom.
