About Blink

Meet Blink, a delightful 1-year-old Lab mix who weighs around 40lbs. He's neutered, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on all preventatives. Blink is a bundle of puppy energy, always ready for fun and learning new things as he grows into a fantastic companion. He has a sweet and sensitive nature, and is still getting used to the world around him.

Ideal Home

Blink would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to show him the ropes, as he enjoys canine company and reads their cues well. He's done well around children and cats, showing friendliness but mostly indifference towards felines. He's also fully housebroken, which is a huge plus! While he loves playtime, he also enjoys quiet time and can entertain himself with toys when left alone. He's crate-trained and can be left unsupervised for periods, though tucking away tempting items like shoes is a good idea.

Ongoing Health

Blink is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives.

Training & Support

Blink is still adjusting to life and can be sensitive to his surroundings. Walks can be a bit scary for him, and he may need reassurance or even a lift home when feeling overwhelmed. He startles easily and prefers to approach new people on his own terms. Stairs are also a work in progress for him. He needs a patient and understanding adopter who can gently help him overcome his fear-based anxiety and celebrate his successes.
