Baltos

Baltos is a delightful, adaptable Labrador Mix puppy with a heart full of love and a wagging tail ready to greet you. At approximately 9 months old and weighing around 20 lbs, he's expected to reach about 38 lbs as an adult. He's a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs, children, and adults, making him a fantastic candidate for a family looking for a playful and affectionate companion. While Baltos can be a little shy initially when meeting new people, he quickly warms up with a little gentle interaction and absolutely adores attention. He's already mastering crate training, walks nicely on a leash, and communicates when he needs to go outside. Baltos also loves his toys and is happy to entertain himself. He's an eager learner, full of joy, and ready to bring endless fun and cuddles into his forever home.

Ideal Home

A fenced backyard is a must for Baltos. He would thrive in an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures. Adopters should have a genuine desire to rescue a dog, an understanding of the unique needs of street animals, and be prepared for the journey of protection and education they require. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is highly beneficial, or a commitment to hiring a professional trainer. A high level of tolerance and patience for rescued puppies is essential.

Training & Support

Baltos is not yet house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period in a new home. Patience, understanding, and establishing a consistent routine will be key to helping him build trust and feel secure.

Transportation

Baltos is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast as part of our scheduled cross-country trips. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD applies. Our transport service includes door-to-door delivery with regular updates throughout the journey.
