Maura

Maura is an approximately 4-year-old Pit Bull mix who was rescued from Tulsa Animal Services just before euthanasia. This sweet girl has clearly had a tough time, arriving with her puppies and being terribly underweight. Despite her past, Maura remains incredibly gentle, trusting, and affectionate. She adores receiving pets and gives kisses gently when offered treats. Maura is partially blind due to a birth defect where her eyes formed smaller than normal due to a lack of vitamin A in utero. However, she has partial vision in her left eye and has wonderfully adapted to navigating her world. She absolutely loves going for walks, sniffing, and exploring when she feels safe and comfortable!

Ongoing Health

Maura is partially blind due to a birth defect affecting her eye development. She has partial vision in her left eye and has adapted well to her condition.

Training & Support

Maura is a gentle soul who responds well to affection and positive reinforcement. Continued patient guidance will help her feel secure and confident.
