Daphne

Daphne is a sweet and playful approximately 8-12 month old mixed breed girl, weighing in at a petite 35-45 pounds. Her best guess mix is Shepherd and Boxer. She was found abandoned and alone, but she's now learning that she's safe and loved, and she can't wait to find her forever family. Daphne is friendly, smart, and eager to please, and she's already working on her basic obedience and leash manners. She has a medium to high energy level and would love an active home to explore with her new people.

Ideal Home

Daphne would do well in a home with other dogs of all sizes. While she's learning to interact with cats, she can get a little overexcited and chase if they run. She's also a bit clumsy with very young children, so continued training will help her refine her manners.

Ongoing Health

Daphne has been vet checked, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and spayed. She is current on flea/tick/heartworm and deworming preventatives.

Training & Support

Daphne is kennel trained and house trained. She is still learning basic obedience and leash manners, and benefits from ongoing training. She may bark in her kennel at times, but this is improving as she learns she won't be left alone again.
