Cream is an 18-month-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! He was found abandoned with his mom and siblings on the side of a highway in rural Texas, a tough start that he's bravely overcome. Cream used to be nervous about the world, but thanks to dedicated training, he's blossomed into a confident and happy companion. He now enjoys outings to places like Tractor Supply and even the occasional pup cup! Cream has been staying with professional trainers at CoDa Canine Training, where he continues to receive daily training refreshers and has participated in playgroups and various excursions to build his worldly experience. He's looking for a family member and activity partner who will continue to nurture his confidence through consistent training and provide a stable, loving environment.
Ideal Home
Cream would thrive in a home that is looking for an active family member. He is good with children aged 10 and older. While he loves other dogs and has experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages, any resident dogs must meet Cream first to ensure they get along. He does not enjoy being held or hugged tightly but loves to be near his people, whether that's lounging at your feet or snuggled up on the couch. He dislikes yelling, aggressiveness, and chaotic situations in new environments.
Ongoing Health
Cream is up-to-date on all vaccines and preventions. He has no known health issues. He will be neutered on 6/25/2024.
Training & Support
Cream has benefited from 6 months of professional training and continues to receive daily refreshers. He is kennel and house-trained, as well as leash-trained. Adopters will receive training sessions and ongoing training support as part of his adoption. His trainer notes that he is a quick learner and has shown significant growth in confidence.
